The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered a new trial for Richard Glossip, the man who had been sentenced to death in Oklahoma following a trial that was questioned by lawyers and advocates; lawmakers of both parties; independent reviews; and, eventually, the state’s Republican attorney general.
