I had one in the early 80s,and went into the back of a Volvo estate. Needless to say, the radiator and front end of my 100a were squashed in, but repairable.
The towbar on the volvo was lightly scratched.

Not a fan of the colour, I had a 1976 Mercury Bobcat that colour, blech.

I dare say this car held up better than that off brand Pinto did though. When I got rid of it in 1985 it was running on 2 of 4 cylinders.

Oh wow! We had one of those in 1983. It didn't like to start when it was wet or damp, so we had to park it facing downwards on a hill!

We had a white Datsun 100A FII when I was a kid. Not for long, it was a dreadful car with the horsepower of a small lawnmower and a tendency to rust if it looked slightly cloudy. I'm surprised so many have survived, and more surprised anybody would want one!

Absolute peach! My uncle had the sportiest version - am sure he got us up to 100 on the way to Cornwall once. We kids screamed like it we were on the waltzers!
