Now I have reverted to “Inside Sonya,” who will mostly be posting cat & dog pictures from my home in Chicago until next March 🤣

Queen Latifah & George Lucas in the same room as me! I was fan girling so hard! No, I didn’t even get close to meeting them, but breathing the same air in the same space as the people who gave me Ladies First & #StarWars is enough for me! And Mellody Hobson is amazing. Haven’t met her either - yet🙏🏾

I always get my makeup professionally done before these events. One of my besties, @paulaedgar.bsky.social, got me into getting my makeup done yrs ago & I have not looked back! I thank Paula - my wallet blames her. 😩 I walk into MAC in Chicago & they shout “Sonya!” like I am Norm on Cheers. 😂 💜💋💄

Some old friends of almost 25 yrs! Once upon a time we were members of a small group of “Black Women Partners in Large Law Firms in Chicago.” There were about 20 of us & we met regularly for dinner and supported each other. Haven’t seen Lori in ages! Wonder what she’s been up to in recent years? 🤔

If I search for “Christmas Tree” in my phone’s pictures, dozens of photos of me in front of Christmas trees come up. I love them! Do I have one up at home? No. 😩😂Haven’t had time, & now it’s too late to be worth all of the effort (I live on the top floor/4th floor of my condo with no elevator!) ❤️🎄💚
