Oh I completely agree.

And I am previously aware of the prejudices of Scandinavia. I'm just always surprised because it SHOULD be better, it has all the makeup to be a really accepting society,

But it isn't (if that makes any sense lol).

It is a slur - same for us as the N-word, tho in the same way some of us reclaim it too - but yeah, they shouldn't have used it, but at this point we take what we can get, I'm just glad each time our issues make the papers & we can fight about words when our bodies are safe y'know? 💚💔💙

ya no I completely get it, safety justice and livable material conditions need to be addressed well before discussing language. I've also had the unfortunate reaction of people not actually knowing who im talking about when I say Roma or Romani

Yeah... Even I have gotten a taste of it! If you have Thick, dark hair, ppl starts to ask if you are "Tattare" or some other rude word for "Person who does not look typicaly swedish"

My family has been here since the 1600. X,x Its ABSURD. I can only imagine how bad it gets if 1/2
