I want to see a "Star Trek" episode that explores the mundane but mind-blowing parts of living in a safe, post-scarcity society, like someone going to a public park, picking a fruit, and taking a nap under a tree because it was so nice and peaceful. I think we could all use an episode like that.

Post-scarcity utopia is *really* interesting not so much as the location for setting but the conflict that would occur on the edges - the societies just outside of the UFP.
Starfleet is where all the excitement is!
