Hmmm. What type of vinegar?

Just the cheap stuff from Tesco.
None of that fancy woke vinegar in my house! 😆

And type of bread?

Aha, that’s where it definitely gets wokier!
My sister makes homemade, gluten-free bread.
And she lives right next door.

Might make a difference. I know I could eat a mayo sandwich. But not ketchup or mustard.

Another good one is mustard and marmite.
You wouldn’t think it but they go great together.
Especially on toast.

Weird. Why don't you have a sugar sandwich instead?

Without oil? Vinegar and olive oil I understand.

I’m just about old enough to start having cod liver oil sandwiches!

That sounds like one of the things my mum would say to me as a kid to stop me doing something 😆

Mine told me that it would thin my blood, so I switched to pickle juice and eating whole lemons.

The whole of my insides have just shrivelled.

I am not sure it's a saying, but you really made me laugh.
