The carbuncle lifts his head to look at Tsu and sniff in her direction, before settling back down and closing his eyes. His glowing body seems to be acting as a reading light in the dim conditions under the tree. “And who might you be?”

Tsuzano smiles in admiration at the pair. A travel companion seems very nice. She wanted to reach out and pet the Carbuncle, but resisted the urge. "Nice to meet you, name's Tsuzano."
Ajhure closes her book and cranes her neck to face the carbuncle on her shoulder. “Alright, Twinkletoes. You’re free to go.” The glowing creature scrabbles down from her shoulders and hops over to sniff at Tsuzano’s hand. “Hungry? I found some berries before it started raining.”
Tsuzano kneels down and allows the Carbuncle to sniff her hand before petting. "Some berries, huh? That does sound quite lovely. I haven't a clue when this storm is supposed to clear."
“Ough, hopefully soon. I hate the rain. At least we have a giant umbrella to hide under.” She reaches for the pack next to her, flips open the top, and pulls out a drawstring cloth bag. Opening the bag, she rolls down the sides of the bag to make it easier to reach the wild rolanberries inside.

Setting the bag of rolanberries on the ground between them, she turns back to her pack and stuffs her book inside. “It’s getting pretty late in the day anyway, so I decided to camp here for the night, and see if the weather has cleared by morning.
