This is super strong, and true for me too. I'm basically capable of crushing on literally anyone, so I have to be careful and make sure my emotions are clear. Though most people don't know I'm poly, just due to poli...tics, so it's a bit sad.

Thanks for the small thread. I struggle with this at times... The lines between friend, lover, partner are extremely blurry and shifting for me. But also I feel like most people I deal with every day cannot conceive of anything between friend and lover, and cannot imagine romance without sex either.

Some people may cross the boundary of friendship into a romantic realm, and I will feel a strong devotion to them, even in the absence of physical or sexual attraction. This can confuse some people, so I strive to clearly express my emotions, especially when I finally can figure out how I feel.

I have a flirtatious nature when I feel comfortable with someone. If I sense a mutual attraction, I might flirt to gauge their interest. I try my darndest to be attentive to their comfort level with me as well for I never want to make anyone upset with such attention.
