Tragically I never went in one when i lived near em because the name sounds like a bulk goods store.

It's one of those unfortunate names like "Ocean State Job Lot." Every time I'd drive by that store I'd think "that's an awfully big unemployment center."

If you have one of these in your area, pay close attention to upcoming sales. You might be able to snag furniture, mattresses, cooking gadgets, or similar high-ticket items that this store already sells at a discount on fire sale prices.

But also make sure to compare the prices to other retailers. I remember when my local Bed, Bath, & Beyond was going out of business, a good number of "sale" prices were about the same as the price at like Walmart normally.
