Gamers, it's time to take back the industry.
Start talking with YOUR MONEY.
Stop buying shit until they fix the formula.
I have like a hundred or more games in the backlog at this point, I'd assume you do as well.
Stop buying. Just stop buying. When the shit sits on the shelf, they panic.

I've already sold three kidneys, and the cops have started asking questions about where I'm getting them from. 😄
It puts the power back in our hands as the consumer to simply say "no, this is now what we wanted" instead of hoping and praying your investment isn't wasted.
Unfortunately, "voting with your wallet" will not work for that. It helps, but the games industry is one propped up by whales, and corporations have gotten good at pulling them in.
I think a more actionable fix is to get gamers to stop thinking this hobby/field is apolitical.
Look how politically active people are about tariffs now. Imagine if we had done that when loot boxes first showed up.
I hope that made sense.
All I'm saying tho is that your money is powerful. You can make a difference in this area as a single person.
Because it's not just you. It's many single persons, all feeling the same way.
If we stop buying, it makes that harder to do, and the squeeze comes down from the top.
I definitely do not believe we are powerless here.
Your money is your voice, hard stop.
