Regardless who who leads the Liberal Party, Pierre is a danger to the country and will change it irrevocably. He will decimate our social safety net. He is beholden to India, they ensured him the party leadership! Leaders can be replaced but our social safety net can’t. We must fight to protect it.

We wanted photos with everyone, including Freeland. She was patient and congenial, very gracious. The media presented it as if she was mobbed. She wasn’t. People wanted to thank her for her contributions; to show respect. We were patient. Her resignation caught us off guard.

The room was a sea of people! 2,200 or so Liberal staff and party supporters and media who shouldn’t have been invited.

After dinner, we could socialize and get photos with the PM. People queued for over 3 hours. Off to the side was Freeland. A short queue of people wanted to chat with her.
