This is an awful idea for like a billion reasons, but the idea that giving Germany, who might be taken over by the AfD, nukes would lead to stability or peace is just... lol

Let me put it this way: I have always been highly skeptical about the idea of Germany or the EU needing their own nuclear weapons.
But without the U.S., I do not believe that the nuclear deterrents of France and the UK are sufficient to guarantee Europe’s security.
