Honestly I don't fully know - I do think I'd probably use an opaque material like clay or metal, and then when it was time to move it into xr, use a system other than giant resizable panels, or have a way for the panels to break up into smaller groups by functionality. Large design space to explore
clay is an interesting idea, given its softness.
i like the system that a lot of professional programs (like unity!) use, where you are able to detach a window and move it to maybe a different screen. imagine being able to do that fluidly in an xr environment
Omg yeah that could be awesome. One would need a way to keep related things nearby, or at least draw connections between them, but with so much space to take advantage of, breaking stuff out just makes sense
