Ahead of Welsh and Nawrocki, will definitely get more games over the busy winter period and we al expect CCV to get more injuries. It will be up to him to see if he wants to stay or go somewhere else that guarantees him a start?
Strong squad player. Due to our heavy load of games and injuries he will get plenty of game time. In competition with Trusty for starting place in our strongest team. Has proved ALOT wrong over the last few years
Decent defender, but gives me the fear when he has the ball at his feet and time on his hands. Never seems too far from a brain fart and needs to release the ball quicker. Although, he is getting better and has stopped putting the ball into touch when playing out the LB/LW area, thankfully!
Great season and rarely lets us down defensively. Going forward has improved too, but still prone to slow down attack by holding on to the ball too long.
The big man is the most consistent defender we have. Big CCV seems to be picking up injuries every time he plays, and it's still early days for Trusty.
Solid player. Doesn't mean we shouldn't strengthen the CB position but he's a superb bench player to have and I take no issue with him still getting starts in domestic games on rotation.
He's playing the part he probably should now of the guy used to rotate in to rest the others. For me he's a good back up domestically but not whats needed for European progression.

But he will still play about 40 games a season, probably.
I think history will look back kindly on him.
