Film is my second big love after games so I genuinely enjoy writing more “formal” reviews on Letterboxd, especially since I pretty much never get to for work. But I 100% understand just using the app for fun and being silly/unserious with it. Sometimes I do “reviews” like that too.

Nah I appreciate that for sure! I only take issue with the more serious reviews that open with something like “Since no one wants to write a REAL review of Crash in 2024, I suppose it’s up to me”

I figured there were people that were doing real reviews, nothing wrong with it if you’re just doing your thing, but to be like “umm no one wants to write a real review????” is so lame. But yeah it’s supposed to just be the worst shit you’ve ever read
