It's #SteamNextFest time again, and here's my thread for this event! There are lots of great games and it feels harder than ever to find unique and weird stuff when you have to sift through thousands of games (and all the AI). I'll continue updating it as the week goes on!

An ex-Yakuza (with the same voice actor as Kiryu from Yakzua) helps a giant severed toe start a mascot advertising agency in a cursed Japanese town. The vibes are immaculate from the music to the visuals - it's so pleasantly bizarre!

The funniest im-sim I've ever played and it's not even close. Mixing that Blendo Games sense of humour with the kind of technical proficiency you'd expect from a massive team is so impressive. I slipped on soap and rolled around for 5 minutes. 10/10

Look it's not that kind of game it's just the name. This auto-battler roguelike is incredibly addictive. Finding equipment combos that allow for each run to be different, and learning about how to unlock new pieces kept me coming back for more!

The cutesy veneer of this cozy game about brewing tea is used to tell an affecting story about recovering from burnout that'll be gut-wrenching for the kind of people that can connect with it. That said, it still has some laugh out loud writing!

It takes a little bit to get a grasp of how it works, but this tactical roguelike about minimizing your chances of failing is a lot of fun! The art style adds a lot of charm to a game that's at times frustratingly random, but I couldn't put it down.

The shield-surfing alone is so much fun that it could've been the only thing and it'd be solid, but The Knightling is the sort of whimsical and charming little open-world adventure game that I just love to see. A big, lovely game!
