DUDE this movie is a BANGER, everything about it is absolutely perfect- they nailed the production design, the music, the casting, like everything is an 11/10 and I’ve been FOREVER mad that entire cast & crew didn’t get to adapt more of those books

Such an immaculate film, it’s unironically iconic

Yeah dude! Every time I watch it I'm surprised by how (when Jim Carrey's not doing his thing) it's a lot more willing to let the audience sit with a visual. I also really really like Jude Law as Lemony Snicket way more than Patrick Warburton

Oh I totally prefer practically everything about the film over the netflix series unfortunately, I went in with an open mind, but- unfortunately it’s simply sauceless 😔

I get his schtick’s not for everyone, but imo Carrey’s an iconic part of the movie. He plays theatrical, uncaring evil really well

Nah I think he works as Olaf it’s just in contrast to the more subtle tone of the rest of the movie. Not a bad thing!

Great little movie. Always a franchise I have enjoyed. I would highly recommend the Netflix series - it tells the whole story which is nice.

I watched a bit of the first season and really enjoyed it yeah I think after this rewatch of the movie I’m gonna go back and finish the show up
