Amy Goodman is generally good, I recommend looking into Democracy Now if you aren’t familiar with it. I highly doubt she is siding with Warner Bros or the studios here.

Usually Goodman is good but not with Coogler. The way she phrased her questions was so weird & biased - if she were being objective, she would have FIRST done her research to know that this Black genius's deal was not a NEW totally out of left field thing, & 2nd, would have phrased it more honestly.

The emphasis on $90 million dollars also bumped me. What decade does she think we’re in? It has tons of effects and stunts and was made for half of what they spent on the Joker sequel.

It’s not nothing, but it’s also a not “wow, can you believe it?!” budget.

Agree completely. And she should know those numbers. And she shouldn't laugh when she presses him on his theories, it isn't funny. He is full of grace and such an incredible artist, being pressed to say "racism." It is wrong. That is her job - she knows the facts - state them. Racism on display.

I love this so much because we’ve somehow been taught that when artists create art they make SOME money but the real riches go to the people who own the studio or the app. Artists absolutely should make the most money from their work.
