I wish Trump, Musk and MAGA would shut the **** up. But I would like the democratically elected Republicans to speak up and support the Constitution and Americans. The silence is building and the reason is more apparent every minute. Truth time.
I do worry that not answering questions will antagonize law enforcement and create more abuse. I never thought in a million years that I would have to worry about something like this.😢
It’s not illegal, but police like to harass protesters. A few states allow protestors to be injured or run down. So, while it’s not illegal, it’s risky for many reasons.
Like the above says, and also cops will plant undercovers in the protest crowd to encourage a peaceful protest to become violent so that they can arrest people. There are guides for recognizing them
Request an attorney. Use your one phone call to let your significant other/close friend/family member know you’ve been detained at (fill in name) by (arresting officer name) and you are waiting for an attorney.
