The transcripts touch on all the complexities of governing Ireland in the late eighteenth century, and at the same time provide a window into the issues at the heart of the Imperial Crisis. I must add, the digitized transcripts were created using reproductions of the original Library of Congress microfilm held by the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland. Needless to say we are very grateful to the LoC and PRONI for making this possible.
