If you look at everything Trump, Musk, and MAGA are doing as part of a plan to destabilize the US and Europe/NATO in favor of Russia, that's about the only optic through which the actions are consistent and sensible.

Not just Ukraine & Europe. Trump is bullying Canada. Calling our PM a "governor" of the US's future 51st state. Spreading lies about trade & seeking to destroy our economy - an economy integrated with the US that will cause harm to both sides. All this to America's neighbour and once closest ally.
