There are some very easily understandable sin taxes. To discourage people from purchasing them in excess or to reduce harm.
With that logic, I think it stands to reason that institutions whose sole purpose is to spread hatred towards fellow Americans should be taxes at some draconian rate.

Churches should be required to PROVE they are doing something for the poor. There's nothing wrong with religion so long as they are preaching the gospels in their actions rather than their mere words.
