I think this "punishment" notion is misguided. 2020 Biden voters who didn't vote for Harris may have felt that it was simply wrong to vote for a genocidal administration. Or maybe they were soured on the whole system by the apparent rule by uniparty. Or maybe they were just demotivated.

this election wasn’t about joe or kamala. it was about trump or not trump. even if one thinks dems are just the lesser evil, they’re still the decidedly LESSER evil. this was not the time to sulk and pout.

I reached the same conclusion, but it is a fact that some voters think genocide is simply unacceptable. Voters should never have been presented with a choice where genocide was the lesser of two evils. That choice was presented by Biden/Harris, and they bear responsibility for the outcome.

Voting for genocide is a repugnant act. It is unreasonable to focus blame on those who refused to vote for genocide. You can disagree with them, but please don’t transfer blame from the genocide supporters who created the horrific choice by enabling the slaughter.
