Her 2020 positions, such as (1) making illegal immigration merely a civil penalty, instead of what it is now, a criminal offense. (2) taxpayers paying for gender reassignment for convicted felons and other prisoners. Great way to get out of a rough all-male jail and reassigned to an all women's jail

You are wrong that KH's proposal that it be only a civil penalty w/o potential for crim'l penalties & jail is the present status quo. 18 U.S. Code § 1325. 1st violation is crim'l misdemeanor (fine or jail time max = 6 mos, or BOTH.) 2nd viol = a felony (fined or jailed not more than 2 yrs, or BOTH)
