The social media posts in question were direct incitements of violence, one example called for refugees to be burnt alive in the hotels they're being held in.

So not really "thought police", just regular policing, things which have long been illegal in a lot of countries.

If someone is inciting violence & using social media to trigger that violence there needs to be a way to deal with that. It should be illegal to conspire with others towards the escalation like J6.

We would justify if it was a Muslim extremist advocating a terror attack. We have to find a way to catch all hate/ extremist groups before they cause harm (and recruit the younger generation).
