At the start of the story... 10 years! She's determined haha! The second chapter goes back to the beginning as a sort of remeniss of taking the job, but yeah the main story is 10 years into the hunt!

Natural traps, sometimes other dangerous creatures or vampires (Gilnor has no love for his own kind so it's a win-win whether she gets taken out or takes out the other vamp), sometimes traps of his making - although those lessen over time for *some* reason (😉)
