First game, an 11th birthday present, was January 1956, friendly v Derby Co. We were slaughtered but I was hooked, now 69th season. Third Division South to PL and Europe. Seen it all.

I was actually at the Weald in Billingshurst, we lived between there and Horsham. Not lived that way for over 25 years, but still pop down to see family etc. Large parts of the Horsham area almost are unrecognisable now from my time there.

We lived near Dyke Road. On Saturdays as a child I would hear crowds of fans from the Goldstone ground walking towards Preston Park station and London Road after the game. My Dad reckoned he could tell from the noise levels whether we'd won or lost.

My dad+uncle went to games at the Goldstone. I was taken once when I was 6. After that went to a handful of reserve games when I was a teenager. Then in 1999 I started going to games home and away. Met my husband and now we go with our son.

Hi mate. Fellow SE London Seagull. Told my dad when I was about 7 I supported Liverpool (or maybe Spurs). Having grown up watching non league he was like "nah, what's our local team? Brighton? Ok let's go".

I started going with a school friend and his Dad.
Unfortunately, my old man wasn’t a huge football fan.
I recently reconnected with some cousins after about 50 years, they all support the Albion and so do all my family.

It’s in the blood.

My Dad took me to the game at home with York City that got abandoned due to pitch invasion, but I’ve been a Sussex boy since and it’s the only team I could ever call mine.

I went to my first match at the Goldstone in 1984, watched us go all the way down the leagues and back up again!. I love the Albion and a STH in NW corner and go to most away games. 💙🤍⚽️

Mid Sussex girl, moved to Hove in the 90's and lived near the Goldstone bought a season ticket and never looked back. Now in exile in Berkshire but go as often as I can.

Brighton born, raised in Lewes, & went to the Goldstone a couple of times in the mid-70s, but it didn't get its hooks into me. Started going with friends in 81/82 & was at Anfield in 83 for the cup win. Have attended games every season since - a 40+ year love affair! UTA.
