Helicopters tend to rapidly come apart if something is seriously wrong, the hope is the cabin comes down softly intact away from the spinning blades, but that was way too high to survive.
Not to make too fine a point on it, but I feel safe to say that if those people were still alive, most people here would hate them just because of class reasons.
