The book “Brushing Back Jim Crow” is a great read for leagues in the South. It won’t give you team by team but will give you the first year or so of you of every league.

I'd imagine it was all varying degrees of awful. Most of the stories I hear from black and Hispanic players in Texas at that time are awful.

Rick and Gary have compiled a list of 1,100 minor-league players from 1946-1959 who would have been barred from O.B. before Jackie. Not sure how specific the book will get about team-by-team integration, but it should be the best starting point once it’s published.

Weird integration fact - Boston in the NHL had the first black player (modern era) and that was before Boston in AL had a black player.
Of course the RedSox were the last team MLB to have a black player and a full dozen years after Jackie.
