We all know that if Harris had won, there would not have been a leftward corporate stampede of ostentatious inaugural "donations," etc.

I think I agree with this, but I think my criticism, and others’, is with Dem tendencies to support policies that will be vaguely unpopular but maybe slightly useful if Dems are in power and utterly catastrophic for Dem voters and society as a while if they’re ever not.
