Yeah, for fully pay-walling your content to actually gain you followers you'd need to have some TRULY outstanding art (which you do), but most of the time it just makes people turn away...

I think the most disheartening thing I ever saw, when I was contemplating interacting with an artist, was patreon locked ability to even commission.

It didn't feel right to have to pay monthly just to have a chance to pay for art... cause the slots were randomised among all of the subscribers.

I genuinely forgot some artists existed because they haven't posted in years in any of their public galleries.

And that's not the worst thing that happened.

I had to stop following several artists only because their FA wholly turned into censored or blurred patreon art, sometimes just copy pasted.
