I have spiders in my washroom. We have an agreement that they stick to their corners, help with pests and we're all good.

I did get a big spider for where I am (1-2" wide) living in my tubs drain for awhile while I was waiting for repairs to happen during the plumbing issues... X.x;

x.x I have been trying to get better at not being off about spiders, but when they intrude on personal space it gets chaotic. Thankfully only 1 case where one ventured into forbidden range, but that one was about the size of my palm and I didn't see it til it Opened. The. Door. x.x

Yea, only time I went twitch-react was when we decided to remove the pool back in ancient times (f that pool and the person who left it), pulled up 'floor' to reveal a surprise and learned how to fly over a wall.

Yeah...

When I can hear a spider move... Like one skittering across my bedroom floor many years ago... That's when I get twitchy
