My UPS driver in 2019 didn't know what tariffs were. My doctor didn't even know! I don't expect everyone to know everything, but how ignorant can someone be not to understand a basic concept such as tariffs? In addition to electing Trump, this truly is the fruition of lack of education in the USA.
I remember in 2019, tariffs started costing me about$100 in extra taxes/day. All the while Trump was stating that "China was pouring enormous amounts of money into our treasury as a result". Fucking LIAR again. Still...most people...even supposedly smart people didn't know what a tariff was.
