😂 I just was in 🇩🇪 visiting my grandkids, and the youngest, 4 yrs, is obsessed with rocks. Their house is filled with rocks picked up on their walks. My daughter put her foot down and said no more rocks. So the little one comes home with pockets full of sand! 😂
I have dozens of leftover skeins of yarn. I’ve been seriously thinking about crocheting a bunch of little anigurumi style animals and dolls to donate to some of our local low income organizations this Christmas.
They were a fad when I was a kid. They came from the store in a little carrier box with air holes in the sides. There was a hay nest in the bottom of the carrier, and a spot to write their name and all. The obscurity of it was just fun. They were more like a gag gift.

But yeah, the pet rock was a fad when I was a kid. I grew up in the country. Rocks were plentiful.
