I think so. There's no unrest but its getting more difficult to recruit new meat.
So they make an example of a few commanders to pretend that they were the exceptions.
But they're not. Nothing will change.

I have the luxury of being distant from the war so it’s difficult for me to write off the entire Russian nation, even soldiers. A lot of those guys have many reasons for slogging it out that aren’t a product of hating Ukraine.

Of course, if I was Ukrainian I’d feel differently.
