Not really the way they used to, the Finnish Army is fully mechanized nowadays. But they do have some bicycles for people who need to get around the garrisons a lot, in a cheap and efficient way.

I knew that part, but I have heard from a couple Ukrainian friends that russians were using it in a really derogatory way, similar to the N word in the US and other English speaking nations who share the history of enslaving Africans and other dark-skinned people. Maybe their view is not widespread.
