Karelia, once seized from Finland, now ranks as Russia's most depressive region. In contrast, Finland consistently tops global happiness rankings. This reflects the Russian tendency to conquer territories at great human cost, only to neglect them afterward.

Many of those was a country once and could maybe be again (if not invaded by some other opportunistic country before that.
I wonder what will happen with Karelia?
My wife's grandfather's uncle researched the Siberian Mansi people 1901...1905, lived there 5 yrs. His daughter published his notes & correspondence in 1963.
He considered Russians utterly untidy, dirty, uncivilized drunks.
That place, together w thousands others, is no more: 300 ha of the best Finnish farmland ...
You really cannot describe it to someone who has not seen it and it's very difficult to understand that it's way way worse than it has ever been under Finnish or even under Swedish rule over 300 years ago.
Russia has occupied it for 80 years now and the population is only 5000 larger than it was 80 years ago.
As for economy, cannot really say. I assume under Finland it would be one of our "hubs" like Tampere.
Pollution is much more serious issue in that matter.
In Tapa, Estonia, the water literally burned right after russians left, there was military airfield in there.
I don't have any idea how many risky industrial businesses there might have been during all these Years. My best guess is "not so many" compared to the area.
Two, ethnic clensing is nothing any civilized country would even consider doing.
Three, Big buck coming from other sources already.
And as always FUCK RUZZIA!!!
Stop legitimising conquest and annexation and regain your stolen land with no russians on it.
Most Finns don't want it back because "it would cost too much to clean it".
So money 🤑
Other side of Russia: Kuril islands.
Japanese still consider it theirs, because ...well because it is.
Justice ⚖️
I want my stolen land back.
But I dont want it back, if it ruins the rest of the country.
Where after Russias take over in 2014, industry was given up, left to rot or whole industral instalations were looted and brought to Russia.
Why are people always expecting anything new or better from them?

The city official that was going to testify in court and turn the embezzler in was assassinated before they could do that but everyone knows who it is. He's a central figure in Putin's mafia.
There were five armed inspections between the Finnish border and Vyborg in 1999. Each guard took bribes.
In Vyborg, people on the street tried to steal parts from our car *while we were driving*. Windshield wipers, hubcaps, the hood ornament...
I don't want it back if the deal includes 500.000 Russians. Otherwise maybe if Putin is ready to pay 50 billion € as a lump sum.
I also know that some people think otherwise.
but without the guy on the right side.
So ruZZia's contribution to the progress of humanity is not only equal to 0 but all policies constitute a stage of the regressio ad infinitum.
Then there is another thing: present Russian Karelia is far more bigger than the area CCCP took from us. It's roughly 50% of Finland's surface.

From the annexed Finnish Karelia, everybody was evacuated and resettled in Finland, today’s inhabitants have immigrated from other parts of the Soviet Union.
