Most of the debauchery is because of how writers and content creators value the Xbox brand. They are mad about how much THEY invested in the brand and how little they are getting in return (this aint the stock market but I understand the sentiment)

Microsoft made it clear that they need to bolster their software more and trying to compete on the hardware front isn't going to cut it, so their strategy needs to change in a meaningful way which seems necessary and understandable

There isn't really any "News" yet. Anything said about M$ going 3rd party or Xbox hardware going away is all rumors and speculation and people are going insane about it. Phil Spencer tweeted that they've seen what's being posted and there would be an official statement next week. Until then IDK

If you're asking for more specific details, all sortsa games have varrying reports about coming to Switch and/or PS5 including Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Starfield and even Indiana Jones

Hi-Fi Rush in particular is the most concrete since it's apparently happening really soon and datamines have found pretty conclusive evidence, being in-game exclusive shirts for Switch and PS4/5
