I pray you find a safe space to exist. I pray you find a time to breakdown, cry and be as vulnerable you want to be. I pray you find understanding, compassion and being seen for who you are, not what you offer others. You are worth love for existing, you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone.

Being loved and loving others is freeing, it is not a prison of duty you feel obligated to remain in. Emotional martyrdom and overextension are not romantic, noble; they will not save you from loneliness you may fear. Love is not earned and given like rationed crumbs. Love is free flowing bounty.

You will never earn affection. Either they do or they don’t. You will never earn attention. They’ll do just enough to keep you around. You do not earn being treated well. You are a human being, not a dog that needs training. This life is yours, the choice ultimately will always be yours.
