I'll give you that, it's a metaphor, like Rousseau's concept of the "social contract," it still does not make it a solution to the paradox, it simply changes the issue from whether or not to tolerate bigoted speech to a discussion about the metaphor.
Thank you, this is what I've been trying to say. I have no problem debating or talking about the paradox itself, but this has devolved into people talking about a contract that is figurative. Doesn't exist. I thought I was going crazy.
