When VOCs became a big issue in paints companies replaced the VOCs with even more dangerous chemicals that were not listed yet.
One "low odour" latex paint was actually a threat to pets and children who were on the floor...
The paint wasn't actually low odour, the additives pulled all the odours etc to the floor were the adults and painters could not smell them.
It's a pain to find it in so many soil and water samples.

I’m gonna ruin your world view. Asbestos is also an incredible material. We also don’t use it anymore. It doesn’t change the reality of the material.
