Will try. But trying to find new animals and inspiration. And of course the time. I write them all up the night before in a document and then go back and edit. Takes a bit of time.
It's funny I thought the idea was kind of weird. I couldn't decide if weird good or weird bad. Debated about the ideas for several days. Thought it might not go over so well. Decided I would be vulnerable and try and see it what happened. Excited to see such a positive response from everyone.
Hallucigenia (Cambrian) – An armored, spiky-legged worm so weird that scientists once reconstructed it upside down & backward. Hallucigenia proves that just because something doesn’t fit conventional expectations doesn’t mean it’s wrong—means the system needs to catch up. 🌊 #FossilFriday #Cambrian
Opabinia (Cambrian) – This five-eyed, trunk-snouted arthropod reminds us that when the world underestimates you, it’s best to keep an extra eye on everything. Fascism thrives on deception, but vigilance—especially with five eyes—is resistance. #FossilFriday #DeepHistory #Evolution
Anomalocaris (Cambrian) – The apex predator of its time, using speed and intelligence to dominate the oceans. When faced with oppression, you don’t have to play by the old rules. Sometimes, you evolve faster, strike smarter, and refuse to be prey. 🦑⚡ #FossilFriday #CambrianExplosion
Dickinsonia (Ediacaran) – A soft-bodied enigma from the pre-Cambrian world that thrived without a mouth, gut, or spine. Dickinsonia reminds us that survival doesn’t always look the way the establishment expects. Be weird. Persist anyway. 🌊💥 #FossilFriday #Ediacaran #SciPublic
Trilobites (Paleozoic) – Armored, adaptable, and existing for over 270 million years. The secret? Constant evolution. They developed spines, rolled into shields, even grew crystal eyes—because in the face of changing threats, adaptability is revolutionary. #FossilFriday #TrilobiteTuesday
Wiwaxia (Cambrian) – A small, slug-like survivor covered in spines, proving that even the most vulnerable-looking organisms can make themselves untouchable to oppression. When the system tries to crush you, get spiky. 🌊⚔️ #FossilFriday #Resist
