Everyone feels absolutely hopeless and post about it should look at trying to do one action that evokes some feelings of productive action each day. A tiny action, a tiny feeling, but *something* each day. It's a heck of a lot more useful than using your mentions as a despair-sinl

Replying is talking to someone. If you were walking down the street & heard someone say it, would you reply/how?

This happens so often. I've read whole essays being critical of the way people are reacting, and vaguely suggesting that they should "be" a different way without specifying what they should actually DO to be this way.

I saw someone (with a large following) say the other day that Maddow's Bluesky plug brought a lot of meta users over and for some, once you reach a certain size you become a "page" instead of a person. Kind of odd behavior.
