White is definitely the worst color in DFT. I've played a lot of it so far (almost half my drafts).
Its problem is its commons - the vast majority of them are nigh unplayable. These two are great; Surveyor, Quickwelder, and Collision Course are OK in the right spot. Everything else - don't bother

I like playing 3 colors in this format, and I think it works especially well for white so you only have to play its absolute best cards.
- Aggro decks are a trap unless you're base-green. Build midrange or control.
- If your deck has more than a handful of W commons, you were in the wrong lane. Play the good cards.
- Put the right cards in your deck;
make sure your synergy cards are supported.
