Just minding my own business watching the Bears/Viking overtime and they go and randomly drop a "Didn't a zamboni driver play goal one time?" out of nowhere. This is why Leaf fans can't enjoy anything.

Actually that was his whole point. That if they could get a Zamboni driver to cover a goalie they surely could manage to find a guy to cover for the first down chains somewhere on the sideline.
David Ayres is a legend in Raleigh. Also the Canes gave up just 10 shots on goal from the time he entered the game midway thru the second. He shut out the Leafs in the third.
