I have the BoboVR swappable magnetic battery pack and strap, with a velcro strip that goes around the top of my headset to my chin.

I haven't really had any issues so far with the battery being knocked off unless I accidentally hit the battery dock XD

How many extra batteries do you need to keep it charged 100% of the time?

just only two. when one dies or about to I switch with a fully charged one. Idk about fast charge but typically 2-4 hours it finishes charging.

I say vr dancers cuase they be wireless and they going crazy and the headset doesn't fall off so I figured they'd have the best setups but like any one can answer 😅

The bobovr s3 pro I believe it's called. It can take a little working to get it fit right but the batteries are huge and there's a little fan for when you get sweaty.

Does the fan use a lot of battery? I'm worried about the quest dying. It lasted about an hour and a half yesterday running pass-through and hand tracking through Virtual desktop. I feel like I'm gonna drain the batteries just as fast

No it's pretty small, and the strap has a beeper that warns you when the battery is low so you can swap it. Mine lasts for what feels like 3 hours, I've never measured it tho so YMMV.
