I haven't gotten any writing or outlining done today. It started out as a bad mental health day, so I simply got through important tasks and I'm now playing video games. Tomorrow is a new day.

I wish I had your ability. I won't let myself do anything if I have a bad mental health day and can't write. I just punish myself. Which is what I'm doing today. Doing nothing but being miserable.
Sorry to hear you're going through a tough time. What helped me was understanding that punishing myself achieves nothing, but allowing myself to do what rejuvenates me improves my chances of a better mood tomorrow.
