The guns happen because minorities lose protection and civil authority is no longer able or willing to maintain order.

I think we're on our way there and I don't say shit to anyone IRL I don't trust about my politics, my weapons or what I'm doing.

I think protests are still probably fine because anonymity is helpful, but I've been stalked before and I'm not willing to put my family in more danger, and especially when the stalkers might be III% or klan types.
