The day a new US President is elected, especially one as news worth as Donald Trump, is a great day for firms and governments to bury bad news. Wonder what'll be snuck out today...

I think going forward UK media needs to just ignore what Trump says and only report on actual actions. Otherwise it’s just going to be a flood of distracting garbage.
Labour need to get on the front foot with the media. GBNews needs to be forced to be impartial by OFCOM and the BBC needs a clear out of Tory plants in upper management. The BBC needs to have politics removed from appointments. Social media needs to obey our laws or be shut down a la Brazil.
BBC political panels need to better represent elected representatives in parliament and political opinions. The Tories still get 1MP and one ex adviser or commentator on every panel. They only have 1/5th of MPs.Libdems, greens, parties from Wales & Scotland even bloody Reform need to replace some Tories
Absolutely this. Musk is already playing games with the UK through the media. Seeing how much of a reaction he can get, to stoke the fire and cause division.
Brexit was a mistake, Water companies to be given free pardons, triple lock cancelled, House of Lords to be (even more) privatised, Tik tok to become sn Olympic event, arise Sir Elon Musk...
