There is another thing iPhone users can use to secure their phones from shoulder surfers: use Screen Time to lock your settings. First open Content and Privacy settings, then turn off Passcode & Face ID and Accounts, then set a PIN code - a new one to lock it!

I don’t use my phone for banking, rather I reserve my phone for 2nd Factor Authentication and I never keep my phone and computer in the same place.

Best way to stop this, is to have your mobile banking app on a different device and leave it at home. Do you really need to have this app when you go out?

#1 don't bank on your phone
#2 don't download banking apps they are not secure
#3 strong differential passwords with 2fa.
#4 never save passwords, cards or any details "to make it easier"
